What is your faith when fear prevents good works
And doing nothing soothes your coward's soul?
And why pretend that darkness never lurks
In corners of your life, destructive, bold?
What will it take to stand and fight with grace
Against the wickedness in places high
That you protect to shield and save Trump's face
Continue evil acts that God decries.
What of your faith in Christ that you profess
With lifted hands in prayer to righteous be?
Oh, do you think to Him you can confess
Your hate, your lies, your sick hypocrisy,
And then repent, but keep the Speaker's prize?
Deceive yourself. In treason that way lies.
